Access by car

  • How can I get to Arita by car from Nagasaki Airport?
    From Nagasaki Airport: take the Nagasaki Expressway > change to the Nishi-Kyushu Expressway> get off at the Hasami-Arita Exit. Approximately 40 minutes.
  • How can I get to Arita by car from Fukuoka Airport?
    From Fukuoka Airport: take the Kyushu Expressway > change to the Nagasaki Expressway > change to the Nishi-Kyushu Expressway > get off at the Hasami-Arita Exit. Approximately 80 minutes
    Go ahead through rainfall, Route 202 from Fukuoka Expressway Circular Route /C in imanrihigashifumaneki IC through Imajuku road, Nishi Kyushu Expressway; about 100 minutes.
  • How can I get to Arita by car from Saga airport?
    It is about 90 minutes (via Route 444) through general way.
  • What is the time required to the Hasami Arita IC exit from each starting point?
    As follows: The time required from each IC
    ・From Dazaifu IC about 80 minutes
    ・From Tosu IC about 60 minutes
    ・Approximately 40 minutes from Saga Yamato IC

Access of public transport

  • How can I get to Arita by public transport from Nagasaki Airport?
    Haiki Station transfers from going, Omura Station to Omura Station by bus in JR in 50 minutes; and is 15 minutes to Arita Station.
  • How can I get to Arita by public transport from Fukuoka Airport?
    It is arrival of Arita Station by JR limited express by subway from five minutes, Hakata Station to Hakata Station in 90 minutes.
  • How can I get to Arita by public transport from Saga Airport?
    It is arrival of Arita Station by JR limited express by bus from 35 minutes, Saga Station to Saga Station in 40 minutes.
    It is arrival at Aritacho by Saga Airport limousine taxi in 90 minutes. (it requires reservation by 17:00 of the taken day before)

Nearby Hot Springs

  • Is Arita close to hot springs?

    There is one in Arita-cho.
    Arita Hot Springs (one-day hot spring)
    It is a 5-minute walk by Matsu-ura Railway from Arita Station from going, there to Midaibashi Station
    Five minutes by car from Arita Station

    There are three in the suburbs of Arita-cho.
    Takeo Onsen
    20 minutes by car; 15 minutes from Arita Station to Takeo Onsen Station by train.
    Ureshino Onsen
    25-minute drive, or go to Takeo Onsen by train and take a 30 minute bus ride from there.
    Hasami Onsen
    20 minutes by car

    It lasts for seven days, from April 29th to May 5th every year.
