Arita Porcelain Park Zwinger Palace Art Gallery

Home to a gallery with Arita porcelain, this building is a reproduction of the Zwinger Palace in Dresden, Germany.
The gallery exhibits items manufactured between the Bakumatsu period (1853 - 1867) and the Meiji period (1868 - 1912), the time of the second export boom of Arita porcelain. Visitors can feel the presence of a great number of precious items produced at various times in Arita’s 400 years long porcelain history. A must-see is the 1.82m high flower vase exhibited during World Exposition in Vienna in 1873.
